Two Wheel Tour: Day 5!
Posted by: Brink | Sunday, September 21, 2008Two Wheel Tour: Day 4
Posted by: Alex | Thursday, September 18, 2008etnies Two Wheel Tour, Day 4...

The fourth and final day of the tour started off with a huge hangover from the party at the Broken Spoke Saloon.

To liven up, we hit the Olympic size pool for a refreshing dip that also doubled as a shower since there was not enough water on the bus for everyone. After that it was breakfast and another Harley ride before a few of the boys had to fly off to other events.

The rest of the boys got geared up in their MX gear and put on a show for the crowd.

The Demo consisted of Mike Jones, Kenny Bell and OX along with a local rider by the name of James Carter. Together they put on a show that, hands down, was the best thing in town. OX and Bell were flipping while Jones and Carter busted out just about every other trick in the book.

At the end Mike Jones got the crowd pleaser award and used his time with the Microphone to apologize for a few reckless stunts he pulled the night before at the bar. Some things never change! And with that we were back at it again, this time hitting the crowded downtown streets before a final run at the Broken Spoke Saloon. That was another crazy night that can’t be discussed in detail. And that was a wrap! We are out of here!
Two Wheel Tour: Day 3
Posted by: Alex | Monday, September 15, 2008The etnies Two Wheel Tour continues...

Wow. Day three started a little rough considering we had a 7am call time and did not get checked into the super plush Hilton hotel in Casper Wyoming until after 2am. Unbelievably, everyone was up and either on bikes or in the bus before 8 and, once again, the Harleys galloped back onto the desolate highways of Wyoming.

The crew made it into South Dakota safely and surprisingly with no drama just after 1:00 pm. After a quick gas stop we arrived in Sturgis a few minutes later. Beau Manley, OX, Kenny Bell and the one and only Todd Potter rode on to the American landmark Mt. Rushmore.

From there it was an insane ride down highway 338 through a majestic green canyon filled with Harley riders going both ways past creeks, lakes and skyscraping trees.

As we got into town we rode through the jam packed streets of downtown Sturgis as the boys made their way back to the Broken Spoke Campground, where the party was already underway. Potter rode a CR250 into the bar where he managed to wheelie in and out of people and expensive show bikes while security chased him around.
Good times, I cant wait to see what day four will bring.

More Two Wheel Tour!
Posted by: Brink | Wednesday, September 10, 2008Ferry At Steel City
Posted by: Alex | Wednesday, September 3, 2008Tim Ferry was one crowd-pleasing sonuvabitch out at Steel City's AMA Toyota Motocross Nationals last weekend... and he finished in 2nd!

Sure, Bubba Stewart maintained his lead from the get-go... rode comfy in 1st place all the way to the finish. But it was Tim Ferry and Broc Hepler's battle for 2nd that had the crowd on its feet. The two duked it out, trading 2nd and 3rd positions throughout the race... and in the end, it was Ferry by a matter a seconds.
That Ferry... sure puts on a show. His weekend results were 2-2 for 2nd overall, and he finishes the season also in 2nd Place!
