Welcome André Villa!
Posted by: Alex | Tuesday, May 20, 2008 | 3 commentsetnies proudly welcomes Norwegian FMX pro André Villa to its European Team. Villa, currently ranked no 1 on the FIM Freestyle MX World Championships series, has had a very strong start to 2008 taking home first place at the FIM WC events in Liberec Czech Republic, Graz Austria and most recently at the FIM NOTJ, Basel Switzerland on the 16th of May.

Born and raised in Norway, Villa raced motocross for 15 years before switching to FMX. To further his FMX career, Villa moved to Torrevieja, Spain where he now owns a World class year-round training compound. After a rough 2007 plagued by injuries, he's definitely making a comeback thanks to his training; Villa has been hard to beat in the last month’s events with his trademark underflip and perfected Tsunami flip.

“We are really happy to have Villa represent our European team and think he fits the etnies bill perfectly. With his signing we are further putting our mark on the FMX scene and adding another great name to the etnies Moto X rooster,” says Jenny Ahnell, etnies European marketing manager.
