ESPN Moto X Championships Riders Announced

Finally a huge event dedicated just to moto! The ESPN Moto X Championships hits San Diego this April 12-13. etnies is going to have a huge presence with Potter, Twitch, Taka and Loza riding, and Deegan riding step up and announcing the FMX events! Let's not forget about the racing, too. Jason Lawrence is confirmed with more to be announced soon.

Potter @ NASCAR

Todd Potter was out at the NASCAR races over the weekend for some FMX demos with Mulisha teammates Jimmy Fitzpatrick and Ryan Hagy. Unfortunately the Sunday shows were rained out. But Saturday the shows went off without a hitch and Potter was going nuts on Shane Trittler's new ramp-to-ramp setup. The take off ramp is 3 feet wider and the landing ramp is 7 feet wider than the old setup, making it much easier for Potter to throw bigger tricks as wells as his upside down whips as seen below!

The crowd was huge!

NASCAR with Deegan, Twitch, Potter & Garland!

The etnies FMX team is gunna be out at California Speedway in Fontana this weekend for NASCAR and the Rockstar Metal Mulisha demos. Deegan, Twitch, Potter and Garland will be tearing it up outside on the new ramp-to-ramp setup, while the NASCAR boys do circles inside on the track.

Come out, watch the show, grab an autograph or two, and enjoy the glorious mullet scenery that only a day at NASCAR can offer!

Congratulations to Tommy Whitcomb for winning the second annual etnies Racer X Photography Contest! Tommy's photo, shown below and in the April 2008 issue of Racer X, won the online voting with over 29% of the votes! If he was a singer he'd be winning American Idol! But we think our prize is better...he has a solid etnies care package on the way and a double pager in Racer X!

Lawrence Takes Second!

etnies’ congratulates Jason Lawrence on taking second place last Saturday in the Houston AMA Supercross at Reliant Stadium in front of 49,986 fans. Jason has now also taken the overall lead in the Supercross Lites Division with this win!

Congratulations to Jason Lawrence on his 3rd Supercross Lites win in a row in San Diego this weekend! Lawrence got the holeshot, pulled away and held on for the win. He is now 2 points ahead of last weeks leader, Ryan Dungey.

"I was trying to keep tabs on him, and I guess he cracked under some pressure," Lawrence said of Dungey who crashed 3 times during the main. "I guess the target can be on my back now, and that's fine by me." With just 2 more west coast rounds to go, and 2 points separating the top riders, anything can happen and probably will. But we're still betting on Lawrence for the Championship!

Motorsport Xtreme Kawasaki's Tommy Hahn rode strong for another 2nd place finish this season!

In the 450F Class Tim Ferry had to work hard and get by some serious talent for his second place finish. Ferry made it by the Honda's of Kevin Windham, Andrew Short and, late in the race, Davi Millsaps! Nicely done, Red Dog!

Lawrence & Ferry Podium at Anaheim 3!

Congratulations to Jason Lawrence and Tim Ferry on taking podium positions this past Saturday at the Anaheim 3 AMA Supercross! In the Lites main event, Lawrence pulled away from the gate and continued to spread the gap between him and the competitors throughout the race. Lawrence’s win put him eight points from the lead for the overall AMA Supercross Lites title.

In addition to Lawrence’s first place finish in the Lites, Tim Ferry took third in the Supercross Class, giving etnies riders two podium positions in the event. Congrats, fellas!

etnies' Travis Preston made his return to Supercross at A3. After James Stewart dropped out for the season, Factory Kawasaki get a hold of Preston to take over Stewarts ride for the season! From the couch to the Factory rig in a matter of days!
