The Sand Pit of the 'Wick

Southwick didn’t disappoint, and was yet another exciting weekend in the outdoor series. YoT’s Brett Metcalfe and Andrew McFarlane were both at the track the weekend before for a local race (stacked with tons of top pros) and got in some good practice for the big race...Metcalfe won every moto, including the 450F class! Coming into the big race with a lot of confidence, Metcalfe carried that over and tied in points for the overall, going 3-2, with Andrew Short (1-4) and Mike Alessi (2-3), but ended up second overall due to tiebreakers. And once again etnies riders take 3 of the top 5 spots in the 250F class!

It was Timmy Ferry’s first race back after injury and he killed it in the sand and scored seventh overall, just ahead of other etnies heavy hitters, Nick Wey and Travis Preston.
