- Una más cerveza por favor.
So, the Daytona Supercross was this weekend, and from what I’ve read on the interweb it was pretty entertaining. TP's backflip to eat-shit after winning a day qualifier (is that really worth flipping about?), TP getting tackled by his bikes through the whoop in his heat race, Bubba wadding himself up while leading the main, Bubba coming from last to sixth had to be cool to watch, Billy Laninovich stepping to the big bikes and placing in the top 10, Josh Grant took second for the second time in two Daytona races....
Did anyone see the Daytona race on Speed Channel the same night? I just happened to be in San Felipe, Mexico for the SCORE San Felipe 250, and myself, Big D and Todd the BBQ master were looking for a good taco stand for dinner. Daytona was the last thing on our minds, but we got lucky and ended up walking into the only taco stand in San Felipe that I know of with a big TV and Speed Channel rocking full blast! The place was off the main strip so we had it to ourselves, the tacos were the best everrrrr, and we got to watch a couple of heat races, including Pastrana dropping the front end in the whoops while battling with Tedesco. Good times, but the Pacifico's, Margaritas and ladies were calling, so we had to cut the TV time short and head to the bar to get loose!

- You see all kinds of crazy sh!t in Mexico.
Speaking of the race in Mexico, the Desert Assassins Trophy Truck didn’t do so well. There were some problems with power steering and a part in the transmission broke within the first 20 miles. Cameron Steele and the team managed to get the truck running again and finished a few hours later.
We also had a bike team racing a Factory Suzuki RM-Z450. The team consisted of six riders, including Cameron Steele, Cole Gress of Suzuki, Michael LaPaglia (WBR Suzuki rider), Grant Steele, Cody Stewart and some random guy who said he wanted to ride a section since Trigger’s flight from Daytona was "canceled" and there was nobody else to ride his section. The 4X bike finished fourth in the Open Pro class.

- Travis Preston was close to his first podium of the year, but not quite.
