Sam The Ugliest Dog Everrrrr - RIP
Posted by: Cropley | Wednesday, November 23, 2005
- Sam's Christmas card photo.

- He may have been ugly, but Sam still tried to look his best for the ladies.
Sam, the tiny dog whose hairless body and crooked teeth earned him a reputation as the World’s Ugliest Dog, has died.
The pooch died Friday, just short of his 15th birthday, his owner said.
“I don’t think there’ll ever be another Sam,” Susie Lockheed said, adding: “Some people would think that’s a good thing.”
I for one am very saddened by the news of Sam's death. He will be deeply missed here in the etnies web nerd office, but not forgotten. You should check out Sam's web site and blog for more photos and info.

Todd Potter Broke His Femur
Posted by: Cropley | Monday, November 21, 2005Todd Potter broke his femur last week while filming out at Gordon Wells (past Glamis). He put his foot down off a sketchy jump while play riding and snapped that thing clean. He drove home and got surgery the same day!
Docs gave him 6 months until he can ride again, but Potter is claiming 3 months à la Deegan style. Here’s to a quick recovery and a plethora of feel good pills.
All of this as the Harry Potter movie hits theaters and Todd Potter's first etnies ad hits the news stands! >>>
Coincidence? I think so.

Paris/Bercy Supercross Results
Posted by: Cropley | Monday, November 14, 2005The Paris/Bercy Supercross was this weekend and it was filled with plenty of drama and controversy. The Alessi’s were there…that should explain most of it. They got in some battles, on and off the track, with French rivals Steve Boniface and Eric Sorby. But who cares about those goons? It’s all about the etnies riders who rode clean and kicked ass!
Billy Laninovich was on his game with some pretty consistent results, including a fourth place in the Sunday night main event. The week before Laninovich won a main event at the Genoa Supercross. Mike Brown showed he’s got what it takes to be a contender on his new Rockstar Suzuki; he got the holeshot and finished in third place in the Sunday night main, and ended up third place overall after all three nights of racing! Congrats to both Brown and Laninovich!

Chad Reed To Race Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP
Posted by: Cropley | Friday, November 11, 2005In Chad Reed’s 250 class rookie season, 2002-2003, he won nine World Supercross GP/AMA Supercross Series races and the World Supercross GP Championship. Since then, Reed has not participated in the World Supercross GP, but he plans to race this year and take back his championship.
“I’m excited to be competing in the 2005-2006 Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP events in Canada,” said Reed. “I won the championship in 2002-2003, and I am hungry to get it back. I know that Ricky (Carmichael) has once again confirmed his participation in these two events, so I am hoping the rest of the field shows up as well.”
With Ricky Carmichael already confirmed to race and Reed now dedicated to the Canadian rounds, the World Championship is shaping up to be best and most competitive to date.
Check out the full Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP and Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series schedule.
New Motorcycle Jumping Record!
Posted by: Cropley | Thursday, November 10, 2005Never before has the world seen such an extreme stunt! If you can jump through the legs of six aliens dressed in green jump suits doing handstand splits on an old KX, then you might be as cool as this stud…but probably not.
Where Was Josh Grant?
Posted by: Cropley | Wednesday, November 9, 2005Josh Grant finished on the podium in the 125 class at this 2005 Supercross last season. Anyone know what Supercross these photos were shot at?

Posted by: Cropley | Wednesday, November 2, 2005Since things are slow here is a random photo I shot at Deegan's house. See if you can guess the three riders in the photo.
Hint: One of them does not ride for etnies.
First blognerd to guess all three gets a high-five and a good game.

Ocotillo Wells Bon Fire Fun
Posted by: Cropley | Tuesday, November 1, 2005
- RacerX did a feature about Halloween in Ocotillo a couple years ago.
Going to Ocotillo Wells on Halloween weekend is pretty much mandatory, hell it's almost religious. Trigger Gumm, Derek Garland and Todd Potter were a few of the etnies riders that made it out for the big weekend. My new Canon was still in the possession of UPS so there will be no wallpapers or photo galleries from this trip. Hopefully someone can send some pics to post up here. I did get some video clips of the night time buffoonery from Chapman.
The first clip is of an unknown rider jumping the fire on a mini bike.
The second clip is Stogey’s ride almost getting burnt down.
Hopefully more to come soon. Enjoy.
