Posted by: Mike Matz | Wednesday, July 28, 2004Chad Reed finished 2nd overall last weekend at Kenworthys Motocross Park in Troy, Ohio. That was the last MX National that is going to be held there. Chad is in 2nd place in points with five rounds remaining.
Tim Ferry is still struggling with his wrist after surgery and is healing a lot slower than he would like. He finished 10th last weekend.
Casey Johnson is back in action in the U.S. and rode last weekendҒs National. He finished 14th out of 40 in the first moto and had a DNS in the second moto to finish 18th overall.
Brian Deegan is at home in Temecula training for the X Games, which run from August 5-8.
Jeremy Stenberg, Grant Langston and Chad Reed will also be riding in the X Games this year.
Trigger Gumm and Seth Enslow have deals in the works for world record jumps in the next couple months. One will be in California and one in Australia.

There was no National last weekend. Most riders are finalizing deals for next year. Along with Tim Ferry, Chad Reed is staying at Yamaha for the 2005 season. Grant Langston is leaving KTM and has decided to sit out the rest of the 2004 National Series due to a wrist injury that is not healing.
Roger Lee Hayden won his second Supersport race at Mazda Raceway in Monterey this weekend. Tommy Hayden finished 3rd and is in the points lead for the championship with Roger Lee in 2nd.
Jake Zemke finished 7th in the Superbike race and is in 3rd in the points race with three races left. Jake finished 3rd in the formula Xtreme race and is 2nd in points in that series, seventeen points out of 1st.
Tommy Hayden won the Superstock race, with Roger Lee coming in 2nd. Tommy is five points out of the points lead in the series.
AMA has announced the 2005 Supercross schedule. The dates for the two world races to start the season have not been released yet.
